REVO Sunglasses

REVO revolutionised the world of sunglasses in 1985 by introducing cutting-edge technology to sunglass lenses for the first time, combining meticulous design and a strong character that can transcend seasonal fashions. So it is no coincidence that the REVO name comes from the first four letters of “revolution”.

Models in the REVO collection have multi-layer lenses featuring the exclusive Light Management System (LMS), technology spun off from a special project developed by NASA for the portholes of their space shuttle. LMS ensures perfect vision and maximum protection from sunlight. The LMS system was applied exclusively to REVO glasses, which are also available with the polarised filter.

The collection also includes glasses with polycarbonate lenses, a material that is extremely lightweight and unbreakable, ideal properties for use during sports activities. For some models in the collection, customers may choose a photochromatic version that adapts automatically to light conditionsą , leaving the eye relaxed and ensuring the same protection and superb vision as all other REVO lenses.

The 2005 Spring/Summer REVO collection is made up of twelve new models – three acetate, four injection-moulded and five metal.

RE 2025 301/S1 (acetate with light stealth lens) This model stands out in the new REVO collection for the attention to design, with soft, delicate lines making it the ideal choice for the woman in search of the highest quality for her eyes without sacrificing elegance. The temples are thick and very protective, rendering them functional while fashionable, thus combining technical performance with the very last word in style. The lenses on model RE 2025 are also available in the new version with lighter mirroring that guarantees the same performance as the traditional 12-layer REVO LMS stealth lens, but is more wearable, for daily, frequent use, responding to the demands of aesthetics and design as well as function.

RE 3050 001/62 (metal with polarised blue lens) A model with a metal frame featuring the wrap-around style and a sporty look. The flex temples guarantee stability and a comfortable fit in the most dynamic situations, due in part to the acetate tips. A strong, sporty design combines with high performance, guaranteed by the quality of the blue polarised lenses that will protect the wearer’s eyes, even in extreme weather conditions. The REVO logo is engraved on the temple and inside the nose pads, showing a special care and attention to even the smallest style details. Available in six colour variations, RE3050 is a model that fully satisfies the needs of the most demanding male customers in both design and performance, especially version 001/62, created in satin-finish black with blue polarised lenses.

RE 2027 301-S/J2 (acetate with thin polarised grey stealth lenses) The properties of LMS technology and the features of the REVO lifestyle are expressed to the utmost in this model designed for use in the most extreme environmental and light conditions, such as mountain or water sports, and in general in all environments where the glare would compromise sight quality and tire the eye, which can also damage one’s vision. With the wrap-around shape, the design of these glasses satisfies above all the need for protection. Furthermore, the flex temples, with the characteristic engraved metal REVO logo, also shield the eyes at the sides from UV rays, wind and fine dust, thanks to their thickness and perfect fit on the face. The heart of this model is the lens, also available in the 12-layer stealth version, the peak of performance offered by the LMS system. A polarising filter is also supplied to ensure maximum protection from glare. These specifications make this model the ideal companion for the most ambitious, challenging expeditions, and it will not disappoint even the most audacious sports lover. This model is available in six different colour variations, including 301, a frame in opaque black acetate.

RE 3047 080/K3 (with polarised lenses) A metal model with a square design and assertive, linear shape. The flex temples with tips in Hytrel ensure an excellent fit. The REVO logo is printed on the temples and inside the nose pads. The lenses are glass with shaded mirrors and polarised filter, ensuring maximum protection even in extreme light conditions. This model is available in six colour variations, with predominantly dark shades, which are very protective and shielding, such as, the all black and the smoky grey. Version 080/K3 has a shiny steel-coloured frame, holding slightly mirrored, graded dark grey lenses.
