Valentino have really made their presence known in the sunglasses market, with Valentino sunglasses being the number one choice for plenty of fashion gurus. No outfit is complete without a pair of sunglasses and with a pair of Valentino sunglasses you can't go wrong. With a strong focus on such a great collection, Valentino sunglasses are bound to make an impression for a long time to come.
The VALENTINO sunglasses collection for the upcoming season places emphasis on women’s models with ultra-glamorous, brilliant profiles and men’s models with shapes that reveal the boldest designs, developed after the winning concepts from the previous collection with stunning new solutions.
Men can enjoy the superb styles that offer function as well as flair in their wrap designs. Acetate frames are characterised by generous proportions that offer maximum coverage, keeping perfectly in line with the mysterious and enigmatic look of the men’s collection. The contoured style is taken to extremes in models featuring two further lenses positioned laterally along the temples. Eye-catching details include tiny visible studs dotted along the temples, the name “VALENTINO” etched next to the hinge and polarized lenses on some models to guarantee optimum vision.
The chromatic range for men’s models favours the dark, accentuated colours of dark havana, shiny black, dark grey and blue brown.
For women, the collection is shimmering and radiant. Swarovski diamante lights up bridges and lugs in metal models, and on mask models actually covers the entire front bar or the whole length of the temples, in an unashamedly glamorous play of reflections. In addition, some models are personalized by the “V” logo enclosed in a clean oval, positioned on the front or at the tenon of temples.
Metal silhouettes include drop-shaped models with lenses supported by fine nylon wire along the bottom, light rectangular rimless models, and maxi-sized rounded mask models.
The colour palette favours sophisticated but feminine shades of grey palladium, purple, pink and pale blue combined with matching shaded lenses. Softer, more delicate shades have been employed for the diamante-studded mask models: palladium with lenses in pale blue-grey, beige-flash, lilac or grey, as well as dark ruthenium and light gold.
The women’s collection is rounded off with several acetate models – rectangular, square or geometric in shape – characterised by classic and distinctive shapes, but always exquisitely refined. The colour palette plays up the complex designs with solid colours: black-white, bordeaux, black, purple and dark havana.
