Chan Mao Technology Ltd has introduced battery-operated sunglasses that glow in the dark.
Suitable for children and adults, the sunglasses feature a clear PVC frame and two foldable temples. A groove at the back of the frame contains a PVC-protected cord, which connects to the right temple and a control box. The box contains an inverter, a battery case and a switch that can be kept in a shirt pocket. When switched on, the entire frame is illuminated with a bright glow in static or flashing modes. The available colors are blue, green, pink, yellow or red.
The one-size, unisex models are operated by two AAA batteries, which provide power for up to six hours if used nonstop. Nice if you like that sort of thing. Obviously just a novelty, but quite a fun one!
